Dahon and some Questing Knights unboxing

My Soda Pop new releases arrived to paint up for PAX... the Dahon goes together pretty well, used a bit of blutac to make him stay in one piece. very cool monster. Detail looks really good and with his size pretty sharp too. The new Relic Knight resin minis are all really sharp nice casts. Princess Mayla has a great Alice fuffy dress. The big robot guy should have a 40mm base going by the card. The uni girls minis all look fun, the maid waitress is my fav, love the card art too. The nose bleed little guy looks complicated to glue together.

Captain Harlock - revised

After seeing my own photos blown up I noticed I kinda screwed up the eye on Gabe so reworked his face a bit. Also mucking about with my Mechanical Chain Base hanger

Captain Harlock - Darkspace Gabe

Onto the start of Corsairs. I got Dark Space Gabe from a friend selling off his stuff. While cleaning him up I found out the mold line running down his face pretty much wrecked the bottom of his face. So I sanded it back and resculpted his nose, mouth and eyepatch then I made his hair more anime with a big emo fringe over his face. Decided I'd paint him in bits then assemble since the pose gets in the way a fair bit for painting. The Blood Reaper was straight forward in comparison.
