Starship Troopers Diorama
Here's a repost from my old website, I'll try and repost all the old content since geocities shut down. The models are old 40K metal Cadians and an fan made bug predating the official licensed game by quite a few years.

Ooh, I remember that from your old site! I used to follow it avidly back in the day. When was that diorama first posted? 1999-2000 somewhere?
ReplyDeleteThat is a very good picture! It really looks as it is a miniature. Could you tell us how did you make that photo? (if you still remember)
ReplyDeleteIt's entirely possible I took the pic on the glass of my old flatbed scanner. Back before digital cameras became so affordable putting the mini straight on the glass and putting a sheet of coloured paper over the top of it was my best method for getting sharp pics of my minis, I used that method for most of my old site. Obviously depth of field was very limited which likely explains the guys in the back looking so soft focus.
